On Monday, August 12th, Ragendra Swarup Public School hosted an educational event known as Model United Nations (MUN) in the school's Activity Hall. The event was inaugurated by the principal, Mrs. Richa Sinha, who ceremoniously lit the lamp to mark the beginning of the proceedings. During the event, each student assumed the role of a representative of a country or organization. The students represented seven different countries in simulations designed to teach them about diplomacy and international relations. The central topic of discussion was “Climate Change Is The Greatest Environmental Threat Confronting The World." Delegates engaged in constructive discussions on the impacts of climate change on their respective countries. The primary objective of the Model United Nations is to provide participants with a deeper understanding of the world we live in. Through this event, students developed essential skills such as public speaking, presentation, persuasion, situation analysis, research, and critical thinking. The MUN event at Ragendra Swarup Public School was a resounding success, offering students a valuable opportunity to enhance their knowledge and skills in a dynamic and engaging environment.
